LMU is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to assist students with disabilities in reaching their academic potential. If you have a disability that may impact your performance, attendance, or grades, please contact the Director of Accessible Education Services to discuss your specific needs at jason.davis@LMUnet.edu or 423.869.6587 (800-325-0900 ext. 6587). Students are responsible for requesting services through the Office of Accessible Education Services prior to matriculation or as soon as possible after any condition that may qualify arises. The LMU-Tampa PA Program will attempt, to the best of its ability, to develop mechanisms by which students can be accommodated; however, the integrity of the curriculum must be maintained. Our affiliate organizations, such as outpatient clinics and hospital systems, that administer the clinical portion of the program curriculum expect students to perform their duties in a timely and efficient manner, as is critical for patient care. Therefore, extra time will generally not be granted during clinical rotations or clinical performance assessments. Similarly, the use of trained intermediaries will generally not be approved in clinical situations.
